Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. took the lead in the voting rights struggle for African Americans and coined the nationally famous phrase, "A Voteless People is a Hopeless People," as part of its effort to register black voters. The slogan remains the battle cry today for Alpha voter registration efforts.

Sometimes you move from place to place and don’t get registered right away. We understand, but now is the time.

You can’t do anything unless you are sure that YOU are registered to VOTE.
